Meet Canine Companions puppy Wes! Our national partner Littler Mendelson, named Wes through an employee naming contest. Wes was named after one of the firm’s founders. Littler is following Wes on his journey to one day become a Canine Companions for Independence assistance dog for a child, adult or veteran with a disability.
Wes is a Labrador/golden retriever cross. He loves spending time with his puppy raisers Christa and Steve in Phoenix, Arizona. When he’s not soaking up the sun, Wes is working on learning new commands, meeting new friends in the Valley of the Sun volunteer chapter, and snuggling!
